Realtors were supplied with $15000 tax credit for 1st time home buyers.
We should get the republican party to understand that this will help housing get back on track.
So the concern now is, is why are banks still credit crunching their costumers.
Does anyone have an answer as to what the bail out was for if banks are still doing this?
Please inform me with your opinion!

The National Science Foundation has created the Center for Public Policy at the University of Houston.
The Regional Real Estate Database is being granted 49,500 dollars, which will be a unique and comprehensive database of the Houston Region, to size up the complexities and causes of foreclosures.
This will help determine what is actually going on within the real estate market. So that if changes need to be made than can be made effectively by the results of the studies done with in this group.
This will help the real estate market strive through this recession!

Yes they currently are having an effect on the banks of today.
Reason being because, a lot of banks loan home owners money to pay, rent, or lease, their homes. As people are getting laid off, not financially stable, or just low on cash, are able to keep their homes, foreclosures are popping up more frequently!
So as people are not able to pay for these loans for houses, Banks are losing money!

With the DOW down by 200 points, this means real estate is at an intense struggle as well! I say this because our economy is like a huge “food chain”, one area feeds off of another. As long as the DOW is down, it is stating that the companies with in it are not doing to well either. So, Real Estate being one of these areas, the banks are not able to pick up either.
But do not doubt Houston Real Estate just yet. Houston has not yet seen the dramatic affects of the poor economy. Houston Real Estate is still doing quiet well for this day. We are doing quiet well, actually pretty good compared to others!

Why is this?
It is going to stunt the first time buyers market and present another example of the bail out, not working. It seems as though the only ones to benefit from the bail out will be banks and stockholders.

If you are a first time seller, these questions are even more important since you haven’t been through the process before.
